Do a Prison Workout AKA a Burpee!
A prisoner spends lots of time in 8 x 10 cell (btw, have you ever thought that a lot of men spend their days in a 6×8 cubicle? I’m just sayin) so staying in shape can be a challenge. A Burpee is the perfect exercise for their limited amount of room and it also works for guys who don’t have room for machines, free weights or a gym membership. I used to do these when I played football and thought they sucked but the truth is a burpee is incredibly difficult to do lots of but a really efficient, all body workout. No equipment, no driving to a gym. All you need is enough room to do a push-up.
I really have to get back in shape and I’ve decided to use a combination of bike riding/burpees on alternating days. I’ll probably die the first week but I also know it will give me the quickest visible results and I know from past experience that the quicker I see results, the more likely I am to stick with it.
